Ever since I saw Star Wars a new hope, the one that came out way back in 1977, I’ve been hooked on Star Wars ever since. One of my second fav Sith lords has always been Darth Maul. But when I had seen SWs episode 1, and watched him get his butt kicked and then sliced in half by the then padowan Obi-Wan-Kanobi…that was a pretty big disappointment! DM was supposed to have been a highly trained Sith lord trained by Darth Sidious.
And given Darth Mauls history of being this highly experienced Sith lord, shouldn’t he have atleast beaten the living crap out of the padowan and atleast have then suffered a return beating from Obi-Wan, then escaped, to be able to return in a later episode?
Ok, enough geeking out on Star Wars. Just wanted to get that off my chest
